SimpleLTC has partnered with the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination (AANAC) and several leading Texas long-term care experts to create a pre-conference training workshop at AANAC’s upcoming 2013 Annual Conference in San Antonio.

The workshop, entitled, “Texas Medicaid Demystified: Mastering MDS, LTCMI & Medicaid Forms Processing while Maximizing Reimbursement Opportunities”, will take place the first afternoon of the May-2-4 event.

The 2.75-hour training session will provide an in-depth look at Medicaid billing and reporting in Texas, with insight into properly managing the MESAV, LTCMI, 3618/3619 and PASARR processes.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of Texas Medicaid forms processes and learn detailed strategies to eliminate inefficiencies, increase accuracy and improve their organizations’ overall view of resident MESAV data.

A panel of experts will present real-life examples and demonstrations of form creation and submission, highlight case studies from their own facilities and field attendee questions. Speakers currently scheduled are:

  • Gail Harris, RN, BSN, RAC-CT, C-NE, Regional Nurse Consultant, Preferred Care Partners Management Group and AANAC Board Member
  • Sherri Harris, RNC, RAC-CT, VP of Clinical Reimbursement, Senior Care Centers
